Biogas-Vietnam is established from the Vietnam-Germany research cooperation between three universities and an environmental engineering company. The object of the study is the biogas potential in the Mekong Delta region, in Vietnam.

From there, it can be seen that the biogas field plays a very important role in Vietnam. Since 1992, more than 500,000 small biogas plants and 1,500 medium-sized biogas plants have been installed in Vietnam. These works help treat large quantities of agricultural waste and decentralized energy supplies for thousands of households and business units.
However, many biogas plants in Vietnam do not have proper design, there is a lack of technologies to help use biogas more effectively and there are no solutions for liquid and solid waste disposal at the beginning. out of the building.
